Let’s Debate

I hope everyone is enjoying their week into the much, much needed weekend. Other then the fact that I have been sick to the bone, Its been ok for me 🤧

But, today I want to touch on a certain subject…..MARRIAGE💍

Debate of today: Is it ok for your better half (husband/wife) to go on trips with their friends and/or family without you?

A.K.A – Can your wife or husband go on a all boys/family trip or all girls/family trip without you? Is it ok to be upset or should you be understanding/trustworthy?

Me: I’m ok with it on special occasions with rules. Rule #1 You better remember where home is and who you married to. Cause I’ll “Set it off” 🔫 ….Rule #2 Dont make me hurt you👊 …. Rule #3 Its cheaper to keep her💲… And last but not least .. Rule #4 Dont right a check that yo ass cant cash because what’s done in the dark always comes to the light 💡. Respect me when you are away/out living your best life. I think space is good. I want to miss you sometimes especially if we are together 24/7.

HUBBY: I dont know, I never been in that situation. Never experienced it.

So, I want to know what you guys think. Even if you’re not married and know a little bit about the subject from personal experience. It’s cool to chime in.

  1. I have no problem with it. Matter of fact, my wife and her sister are going out of town this weekend. I don’t have any friends and never see my family but I do go on backpacking trips by myself and she’s cool with that. I think it’s important for each person to be able to have some space and do their own thing.

  2. My hubby has never done a boys trip away but he used to play with a band & would go away often. I had no choice but to trust him! … I had a girlie holiday last year for my besties 40th which he want happy about so I have to remind him of all his ‘band’ trips! … I guess it all amounts to trust. & without trust you can’t truly live someone… That’s my perspective… X
